The New MetroFibre App – Built for Simpler, Smarter Self-Service 

Managing your fibre connection should be fast, simple, and stress-free. That’s why we’ve redesigned the MetroFibre App - to give you more control, smarter tools, and fewer reasons to log a support ticket. 

Here’s what’s new and why it matters: 

 

1. A Smoother Start 

New to the app? We’ve simplified the onboarding and password reset process to get you up and running quickly - no confusion, no wasted time. 

2. See Your Service at a Glance 

The home screen now gives you real-time info on: 

  • Your service details (speed, address, status) 
  • Network health in your area 
  • Quick requests like changing your service or moving to a new address 

It’s all right there, in one place. 

 

3. Smarter Wi-Fi Support, Right in the App 

Struggling with Wi-Fi coverage at home? The new tools help you troubleshoot faster: 

  • Self-Test: Quickly check your connection 
  • Wi-Fi Walking Survey: Identify dead zones around your house 
  • Assisted Support: Let a MetroFibre technician guide you remotely when needed 

4. A Better Way to Get Updates 

Forget the flood of messages across different apps. The new in-app inbox keeps all your MetroFibre communications in one place: 

  • Outage alerts 
  • Service updates 
  • Payment reminders 

Simple, clear, and easy to find. 

 

5. Do More, Tap Less 

We’ve made the app easier to use, too: 

  • A new carousel highlights your most-used actions at the top of the screen 
  • A full menu bar lets you access everything else quickly 

From support tickets to billing to profile updates - it’s all easier to find and faster to use. 

 

6. Stay Connected, Stay Informed 

You can now: 

  • View and pay invoices 
  • Get notified about outages or suspensions 
  • Log support tickets and track them in real time 

We’ve even added the option to receive key communications via WhatsApp and email - fast, flexible, and built around you.
